(Google AdMob)

Privacy Policy
No accounts, no servers of ours, and we never sell your data.
Summary
My Battery is a battery-monitoring app. We operate no servers, we don't ask you to create an account with us, and we don't sell your data. All battery readings and your settings are processed and stored locally on your device only. The app uses one advertising service from Google (AdMob), detailed below.
Battery readings
The app reads your device's battery information from the operating system — such as level, charging state, voltage, temperature, current, capacity, and charge cycle count — only to display it to you. These values are read locally on your device, are never sent to any server, and are not stored off your device.
Data stored locally on your device
- Your settings (theme, temperature unit, numeral style, charge-alarm threshold).
- Battery health and cycle-count measurement data the app builds up over time to improve accuracy.
All of this stays on your device. You can clear it by deleting the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads via Google AdMob (banner, app-open, and interstitial). To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process data such as your advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, device type, and coarse interaction data — to select and measure ads and prevent fraud.
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in device settings. If you decline tracking you get non-personalized ads.
- AdMob's processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data.
Permissions and why we use them
- Notifications: to alert you when the battery reaches your chosen charge limit.
- Run at boot + foreground service: to keep monitoring charging and fire the alert reliably.
- Internet: only to load ads — no battery data is sent over the network.
What we don't use
- No servers or databases of our own.
- No accounts or logins of ours.
- No third-party analytics beyond what AdMob requires to serve ads.
- No selling or sharing of your data for other purposes.
Age
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
